Change My Subscription Type

If you are interested in changing your current subscription, we do offer two options from your account profile, where you can upgrade to a Digital Annual Subscription or a Digital and Print plan.

Monthly Subscribers - How to Upgrade to a Digital Annual Subscription or Print & Digital

If you’d like to change your subscription from a monthly to annual billing plan, please do the following: 

1. Visit nymag.com/account and log into your New York Magazine Account.
2. Please navigate to Profile.
3. Under your name, click on "Upgrade your plan." 
4. You will be prompted to upgrade to your desired subscription plan: Annual Digital or Annual Digital + Print.
5. Select the plan that you want to upgrade to and fill out your payment details, if it is not already pre-filled.
6. Click "Agree and Pay Now".
7. Once your payment is processed, you will see an on-site confirmation of your new subscription.

Digital Annual Subscribers - How to Upgrade to an Annual Digital + Print Subscription

If you'd like to include print to your annual digital subscription, please do the following:

1. Log onto nymag.com/account. 
2. On the left hand side of your account, navigate to Profile.
3. Under your name, click on "Upgrade your plan." 
4. Select your desired plan to upgrade: Annual Digital + Print.
5. Input or confirm your payment information if it is not already pre-filled.
6. Once your transaction is processed, you will receive an on-site and email confirmation.

Please be advised that you will receive a pro-rated charge, depending on the time remaining on your subscription and then the full standard amount the following year.

Downgrade to Monthly

If you are a Print and Digital subscriber and interested in only maintaining the digital portion of your subscription, please do the following:

1. Visit nymag.com/myaccount and log into your account.
2. Navigate to Subscription & Billing.
3. At the end of Billing Information, click on Cancel Subscription & choose your cancel reason.
4. Click on nymag.com/subscribe and choose your desired plan type.
5. You will receive an email confirmation of your new subscription.  

Please note that you will also receive a pro-rated refund once you cancel your print subscription.

Want to Cancel your Subscription?

If you are interested in canceling your subscription, please view the following steps:

1. Visit nymag.com/account
2. On the left hand side of your account, navigate to "Subscription & Billing". 
3. Under Plan Benefits, click on “Cancel Your Subscription” to initiate your cancelation.
4. Please enter a cancelation reason to complete and confirm your cancelation.
5. You will receive an email confirming the end of your subscription.
